JamesGreenberg LLC is an Interior Design firm created in 2007 by partners Jackie Greenberg and Heidi James. The firm provides both Interior Design and Architectural services. The firm's classical modernist vision takes its inspiration from architecture, art and fashion. Whether designing an elegant uptown apartment or renovating a loft, the partners have a fresh approach to color and a tailored approach to furniture selection. They have a flair for mixing various periods, such as thirties modern French furniture with more traditional pieces, which add interest and timelessness to a space.
Jackie Greenberg studied Art History and holds a Master of Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture. Prior to choosing a career in design, she worked at the Institute for Contemporary Art in Boston (ICP), the Marisa del Re Gallery in New York, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Her passion for Contemporary Art, both as a patron and a collector, informs her sense of design and sparks her creative energy. Before meeting Heidi James at Pierce Allen Inc. she was with Rafael Viñoly Architects, Hedge Design Collective, and Machado & Silvetti.
Heidi James has a BA/BFA in Art History and Painting, also studied Interior Design. Before creating JamesGreenberg LLC, she was with the following firms: Marilyn Glass Inc., Parish Hadley Associates, Inc., Pamela Banker Associates, Brian McCarthy Inc. and Pierce Allen Inc. In the Contemporary Art field she was with BlumHelman Gallery, Tanya Bonakdar Gallery and Peter Halley studio. Heidi curated several art exhibitions including working on the La Biennale de Venezia and has been published in Galleries magazine among others. |
